Surprise! We're in PC Magazine

PC Magazine has always been kind to Eyejot and we just found out today that we were mentioned in their June 1, 2008 issue. They did a story entitled 529 Computer Tips and, under the section about collaboration, mentioned Eyejot as one of their recommended solutions for video email.

We didn't know about the article until we got a message from a potential customer saying that they had seen the brief write-up and wanted to learn more about Eyejot. I guess we'd better start buying the newstand edition more often! Thanks PC Magazine!

Eyejot on The Computer Outlook Radio Talk Show

Eyejot's CEO David Geller was invited to be a guest on The Computer Outlook Radio Talk Show hosted by John Iasiuolo on May 29. His conversation with John, who was very complimentary of the Eyejot platform, covered topics ranging from Eyejot's application-free design to video encoding to uploading video from digital cameras. David followed John's other guest, Brianna Reynaud, from Skype. You can listen to the interview here.

Uberpulse interviews Eyejot CEO

Uberpulse's editor-in-chief Jean-Baptiste Su recently interviewed Eyejot's CEO David Geller about the company and its direction. They discussed the current platform, its genesis and where it's going, including comments related to supporting the small to medium sized enterprise business market. Eyejot was covered in the February issue of Fast Company magazine. It was in an article about video entitled Straight to Video written by Robert Scoble. You read it online here.

PC Magazine Mentions Eyejot

Thanks to PC Magazine for, again, mentioning Eyejot. This time it's in their March 2008 edition, page 97. The article is about webcams and is titled Here's Looking at You by Rick Broida. Rick covered Eyejot last year and you can find his review of Eyejot here.

TechCrunch covered the release of Eyejot PRO with a post on their site this evening. If you're not a daily reader of TechCrunch you might want to start visiting the site. Everyday they post interesting stories about high-tech companies and events.

10 Ways to Spice Up Your Blog

Rick Broida, writing for InformationWeek, adds Eyejot to his list of 10 Ways to Spice Up Your Blog. His goal was to go beyond, in his words, "mere content and find fun, practical, eyebrow-raising accoutrements that can spice things up." So, we're so pleased he added Eyejot to his round-up of "10 whiz-bang tools!"

PC Magazine says Eyejot is "more personal than stuffy old e-mail"

PC Magazine just put Eyejot on their list of Top 100 Undiscovered Web Sites and said that Eyejot was "more personal than stuffy old e-mail." Naturally, we'd have to agree. They list all 100 hundred of their picks, but we found the Eyejot page here.

PC Magazine says Eyejot is a "piece of cake to use."

PC Magazine has a review of Eyejot. You can read it here. Reviewer Rick Broida appears to have liked using our platform quite a bit. He notes that it's a "a terrific little service" and a "piece of cake to use." Hate to admit it, but his few criticisms are valid. Luckily, many have already been addressed and just need to get pushed to our live, public site.

Spokesman-Review Article

Doug Dobbins covered Eyejot in his article On the tiny screen which appeared in the Spokesman-Review on April 30th. Doug also visited Eyejot's offices and sat down and spoke with David and Daryn. A video of that meeting can be found here.
