Networking site Biznik launches with Eyejot

Seattle-based indie professional networking site Biznik today launched a video profile feature for its members which is built on top of Eyejot technology. Our two firms worked together to pull it off in record time. The folks at Biznik did a beautiful job integrating our widget into their site and we think their members will find the features now available to them extremely compelling.

SalesTeamTools covers Eyejot

Jan Visser's SalesTeamTools blog, which has been covered in a New York Times article about the need for small businesses to stay connected with customers, recently wrote about Eyejot. In a post entitled Make Your Email Messages Stand Out Jan informs his readers that 25 billion "non-spam" [regular] email messages are sent every day and that the average business person sends and receives 600 of them every week.

That's why he shared Eyejot with his readers and seemed to really appreciate how simple we made the product. He also highlighted some features many people miss when they first look at Eyejot, like our support for RSS and iTunes. He promises to share some of our other cool features with his readers soon, so we'll look forward to seeing that post when it's available.

New Media and Eyejot

Al Krueger, a branding and public relations professional, posts about Eyejot in a piece entitled New Media For You. One of the features he's hoping to see form us is the ability to attach documents.

While our Eyejot This! feature can help annotate web pages that may have links on them to documents, Al will be happy to learn that we're planning to support document attachments directly, soon. We think it will become an indispensable tool for professionals including media and branding experts, lawyers, investment advisors and people involved in the real estate industry - to name a small segment.

Eyejot Resonating Within Real Estate Industry

How cool is it when Eyejot gets blogged about by people discovering its potential to improve communications and benefit their industry? I'll tell you - it's super cool and Missy Caulk thought so too. She posted an entry titled "How Cool Is this?" to her blog. Not only is her post informative and complimentary, the comments that her readers made are useful and supportive. Thanks are also due to Jeff Turner, owner of Real Estate Shows. He's been blogging and Twittering about Eyejot for a while.

Demo Girl Covers Eyejot

Molly McDonald, aka Demo Girl, posted two great screencasts demonstrating Eyejot features. The first one appeared yesterday in her post labeled Send Quick Video Emails with Eyejot. She then did a follow-up piece today after trying some of our newer features.

Both of her screencasts capture the essence of our platform's functionality and, frankly, do it in a way that's better than what we've done ourselves! So, thank you Molly. We hope you and your readers continue to find Eyejot useful. We intend to keep innovating and look forward to sharing more cool stuff soon.

Chris Pirillo Tries Eyejot This!

Eyejot This! is a new feature that embeds a bookmarklet in your browser's toolbar allowing you to send Eyejots anytime, from any page. It will record the page title and URL and pass that on to your recipients. And, as an added feature, it can also publish directly to Twitter.

Chris Pirillo covered the new feature on his website and seemed to like it. Thanks Chris!
