She's totally hip and cool!

Found this great post from Jan Connair entitled Admittedly, I am Totally Hip and Cool... in which she had great things to say about Eyejot. She learned about our platform from a friend and, it seems, came to appreciate the simplicity and value that video messaging could offer. We love the detail and energy her post contained and hope you visit her site to read more.

Ultimate email & video... and a great endorsement

Trevor Long posted a great blog entry entitled The Ultimate Personalized Email & Video Email Service Provider in which he extolled the virtues of video as a communications medium and, graciously, mentioned Eyejot. Trevor also provided a test case that involved another Eyejot user named Bob Rodkin. Bob recently shared with his twitter followers a video which described his early experiences with our platform, completely unsolicited, and the incredible impact it had in terms of helping him connect with a small group of people.

Internet.com: Maximizing E-Mail Marketing With Video

Picture 15 James A. Martin has posted an article titled Maximizing E-Mail Marketing with Video on the Jupitermedia / Internet.com site. He describes a common problem businesses have in communicating with their audiences by writing:

"E-tailers often use e-mail marketing to get their message out to current and potential customers. But when many people receive dozens, if not hundreds, of e-mails every day, it's a challenge to make [their] message stand out."

One of the solutions he describes is Eyejot. With a platform like Eyejot you can dramatically increase the impact your message makes when viewed by an existing or potential customer. It also allows you to differentiate yourself from your competitors that may still be using more traditional marketing tools.

See the whole article here and learn how video mail can help businesses create more effective campaigns to reach their customers.

She noted that "[e]ver since I read about Eyejot This my brain has been on overdrive thinking about all of the different ways to use it with and for teens" and followed it with several great examples.

We appreciate her writing about Eyejot and her enthusiasm for our bookmarklet feature. Be sure to check out her post!

"Record on a whim with Eyejot" writes Rick Broida

PCWorld blogger Rick Broida, who has written about Eyejot before, tells you how to make free phone calls with GizmoCall, send video mail with Eyejot, and more in his article Cool Browser Tricks From Hassle-Free PC. He likes the fact that Eyejot is browser based and writes:

Rbroida_65x75"Because there's nothing to install, you can use Eyejot on a whim. Record a birthday greeting for a loved one, let the kids goof around for grandma and grandpa, act like a dork for your blog (you can record a profile video and embed it on your site, as I've done here), or whatever."

NikNik covers Eyejot for Real Estate

Nicole Nicolay (NikNik), Co-Founder of Effektive Solutions and blogger for MyTechOpinion, wrote a nice piece on Eyejot's effectiveness for the real estate industry. Her post Make Real Estate Personal with Eyejot Video Email provides a great case for our PRO Plus version, which allows users to both brand several of Eyejot's notification elements but also attach regular office documents to their video messages. Thanks Nicole!

Networking site Biznik launches with Eyejot

Seattle-based indie professional networking site Biznik today launched a video profile feature for its members which is built on top of Eyejot technology. Our two firms worked together to pull it off in record time. The folks at Biznik did a beautiful job integrating our widget into their site and we think their members will find the features now available to them extremely compelling.

SalesTeamTools covers Eyejot

Jan Visser's SalesTeamTools blog, which has been covered in a New York Times article about the need for small businesses to stay connected with customers, recently wrote about Eyejot. In a post entitled Make Your Email Messages Stand Out Jan informs his readers that 25 billion "non-spam" [regular] email messages are sent every day and that the average business person sends and receives 600 of them every week.

That's why he shared Eyejot with his readers and seemed to really appreciate how simple we made the product. He also highlighted some features many people miss when they first look at Eyejot, like our support for RSS and iTunes. He promises to share some of our other cool features with his readers soon, so we'll look forward to seeing that post when it's available.

New Media and Eyejot

Al Krueger, a branding and public relations professional, posts about Eyejot in a piece entitled New Media For You. One of the features he's hoping to see form us is the ability to attach documents.

While our Eyejot This! feature can help annotate web pages that may have links on them to documents, Al will be happy to learn that we're planning to support document attachments directly, soon. We think it will become an indispensable tool for professionals including media and branding experts, lawyers, investment advisors and people involved in the real estate industry - to name a small segment.
