Eyejot Mobile for the iPhone

We've built a preview page showing our interface for the new Apple iPhone, which is due to be released to the public on June 29th. As you'll learn by visiting our preview page, we don't know, for sure, whether our Eyejot Mobile UI will work on the real iPhone. There have been conflicting reports. Some have suggested that embedded video (on a web page) might not be possible. But, we're hopeful that's not the case and that embedded Quicktime will be allowed. We'll certainly know in a few days.

However, whether or not our preview works on the actual iPhone, Eyejot Mobile will be compatible with a number of other devices and mobile platforms and support not only message viewing and inbox management, but also recording!

We also want to thank David Cann who created several iPhone protoype tools and started getting seriously thinking about building cool iPhone HTML-based apps.

Eyejot wins "Most Promising" at "Launch: Silicon Valley"

The Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE) named Eyejot one of their “Most Likely to Succeed” startups at “Launch: Silicon Valley 2007.” The event took place on June 5, 2007 in Mountainview, CA at the Microsoft campus. Eyejot was among 29 companies vying for this distinction and won in the category of digital media.
