Address book importing and new grid view

Eyejot now supports importing into your address book directly from AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo and Gmail. We're utilizing the Plaxo import widget. To use this feature click on friends and then press the import button.

We've also introduced a new grid view for those of you with lots of entries in your addressbook. Now you can sort by first name, last name or email address. And, like the icon view, you can send an Eyejot by double clicking on an entry, or selecting multiple entries and pressing the compose button. You'll find buttons for both the icon and grid views on your friends page, right near the new import button.

Eyejot on Fusion1.tv

Mike Chandler's Fusion1.tv covered Eyejot in episode #3. They did a great job using screencasting tools to demonstrate the ease in which video messages could be created and used. In fact, we complimented Mike for doing a better job than we've done, so far. On that note, look for an update to the Eyejot web site soon!

Eyejot syncing with Microsoft Zune

Enthusiastic Eyejot supporter Nigel Cooke describes how he synchronizes Eyejot with his Zune. Thanks for the great write-up Nigel, and for continuing to use Eyejot. We're going to have to buy a Zune now.

Chris Pirillo's great idea

Chris Pirillo of Lockergnome fame and one-time host of TechTV's Call For Help is ready to change the dynamics of high-tech news and information again. This time he's creating another Call for Help and he's using Eyejot to gather questions from his audience. You can see more about his plans through his YouTube post. His fans are getting really excited about this.

Marie Germain, founder and CEO of BrainFood Partners Inc., has named Eyejot Brand of the week! She even suggested we should be one of Oprah's Favorite Things. Thank you. That's a very kind compliment. Incidentally, Marie and her group are hosting a technology showcase in November in Toronto called Plexus 2007. Looks like a great event.
